'Kadhavai Thirandhaye' from Rio Raj-Gopika's Sweetheart drops

Sweetheart is slated to hit theatres on March 14

Days after the release of Sweetheart's first single, 'Awsum Kissa,' the makers of the Rio Raj starrer dropped the second single from the film, titled 'Kadhavai Thirandhaye,' on Monday.

The romantic number composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is sung by him along with Sinduri Vishal, with Madhan Karky penning the lyrics.

Helmed by Swineeth S Sukumar, Sweetheart stars Gopika Ramesh as the female lead. Renji Panicker, Redin Kingsley, Arunachaleswaran PA, and Fouziee round out the film's supporting cast. It marks the Tamil acting debut of Renji Panicker, who is also a well-known screenwriter and director in Malayalam cinema.

Yuvan Shankar Raja produced the film through his banner YSR Films; it is his fourth venture as a producer. Besides acting in the film, Rio Raj serves as a lyricist, alongside Madhan Karky, Vignesh Ramakrishna, Arviu, MC Sanna, Kelithee, and Gana Francis. The technical crew of Sweetheart also includes cinematographer Balaji Subramanyam, editor Tamil Arasan, and art director Siva Sankar.

Sweetheart is slated to hit theatres on March 14.
