Gentlewoman clears censorship formalities

The recently released trailer of the film is suggestive of an investigative thriller with a social commentary dealing with topics like religion, caste, and feminism

Ahead of its release on March 7, the makers of debut director Joshua Sethuraman's Gentlewoman announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities.

The film, starring Lijomol Jose, Harikrishnan, and Losliya in the lead, has obtained a U/A certificate from the Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC). The makers also advised that only people who are over 16 come and watch the film.

The recently released trailer of the film is suggestive of an investigative thriller with a social commentary dealing with topics like religion, caste, and feminism.

The music for the film is composed by Govind Vasanthaa, with lyrics and dialogues by Yugabharathi. Sa Kathavarayan is the cinematographer, Elayaraja Sekar is the editor, and A Amaran is the production designer. Sudesh handles the stunts for the film.

The cast also includes Rajiv Gandhi, Dharani, Vairabalan, Nandithaa Sreekumar, and Sudesh. The film is produced by Komala Hari Pictures and One Drop Ocean Pictures. Gentlewoman will be theatrically released by Uthraa Productions on March 7, 2025.
