Varunan trailer: Water becomes a point of conflict

The makers of director Jaayavelmurugun's Varunan: God Of Water unveiled the film's trailer on Saturday. The film was earlier scheduled to hit theatres in January but has now been postponed to March.

The trailer shows water cans becoming a point of conflict between the film's protagonist and the rough boys in his area. Billed as a 'summer gangster story,' Varunan is written and directed by Jaayavelmurugun, produced by Karthick Sreedaran under his Yakkai Films banner, and co-produced by the director's Vaan Productions banner.

Varunan stars Dushyanth Jayaprakash and Gabriella in lead roles. It also stars Radha Ravi, Charanraj, Shankarnag Vijayan, Haripriya, Jiva Ravi, Maheshwari, Arjunna Keerthivasan, Priyadharsan, and Dumkan Maari in pivotal roles.

Varunan, which was under production for a long time, has cinematographer S Srirama Santhosh, editor U Muthayan, music director Bobo Shashi, action choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan, and art director Paddhu as part of its technical team.

Varunan is all set to hit theatres on March 14. The film will be releasing alongside Rio Raj's Sweetheart.
