The makers of Gentlewoman released the trailer for the film online on Saturday. The film is directed by Joshua Sethuraman in his directorial debut.
Dubbed as the "Most Promising Investigative Thriller", the trailer starts with Anna (Losliya) trying to search for answers about Aravind (Hari Krishnan), an LIC agent who has left Anna without answers. It also features interactions between the characters played by Losliya and Lijomol Jose. The trailer ends with Lijomol's character saying, "The cast and religion of a child are known through the father. In every caste and religion, women are inferior to men."
The music for the film is composed by Govind Vasanthaa, with lyrics and dialogues by Yugabharathi. Sa Kathavarayan is the cinematographer, Elayaraja Sekar is the editor, and A Amaran is the production designer. Sudesh handles the stunts for the film.
The cast also includes Rajiv Gandhi, Dharani, Vairabalan, Nandithaa Sreekumar, and Sudesh. The film is produced by Komala Hari Pictures and One Drop Ocean Pictures. Gentlewoman will be theatrically released by Uthraa Productions on March 7, 2025.
