With the film slated for a release on March 7, the makers of director Peppin George Jayaseelan's Yamakaathaghi shared a trailer update on Thursday.

Accordingly, the trailer will be released on February 22 at 5 PM. The film's recently released teaser depicts a village with a unique belief about the dead: that the soul of the departed will not leave if the villagers don't lament enough. We have to wait and see to know what that belief has to do with the storyline.

Roopa, who is known for her roles in Uma Mahesawara Ugra Roopasya and Mr Pregnant, also has Sarangapani Jathakam, which awaits a release date.

Billed as a supernatural thriller, Yamakaathaghi is directed by Peppin George Jayaseelan and produced by Sujith Sarang and Sreejith Sarang under their banner, the Sarang Brothers. Apart from bankrolling the film, the brothers duo will also be handling the cinematography and edits, respectively.

Apart from Roopa, the film stars Narendra Prasath, Haritha, Geetha Kailasam and Subash Ramasamy.
