'Sulunthee' from Lijomol's Gentlewoman out

Gentlewoman is set for a theatrical release on March 7

The makers of debutant Joshua Sethuraman's Gentlewoman, starring Lijomol, Losliya and Harikrishna, dropped the first single from the film on Thursday.

The song titled 'Sulunthee' is sung by Resmi Sateesh and written by Yugabharathi.

The makers say that Gentlewoman will redefine strength and grace and that being gentle is not just for men. The film also stars Rajiv Gandhi, Dharani, Vairabalan, Nanditha Sreekumar, and Sudesh, among others.

Gentlewoman's technical crew comprises music director Govind Vasantha, cinematographer SA Kathavarayan, editor Elayaraja Sekar, stunt director Sudesh, choreographer Azar, and Yugabharathi, who has penned the lyrics and dialogue.

Lijomol Jose had three releases in the last year: Nadanna Sambhavam, I Am Kathalan, and Her (all are Malayalam films). She made her last Tamil film appearance in TJ Gnanavel's Jai Bhim (2021), with Suriya and Manikandan. Lijomol had three recent releases: Ponman (Malayalam), Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai (Tamil) and Daveed (Malayalam).

Hari Krishnan was seen in a supporting role in Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan, along with Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Pasupathy. Meanwhile, Losliya's Mr Housekeeping, directed by Arun Ravichandran, was recently released to mixed to positive reviews and is running in theatres.

Gentlewoman is set for a theatrical release on March 7.
