Mari Selvaraj-Dhruv Vikram's Bison Kaalamaadan wraps filming

The film that marks the director and the actor's maiden collaboration was announced early in 2024

The latest update from director Mari Selvaraj's upcoming sports drama Bison Kaalamaadan, starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead, is that the production has concluded.

The makers revealed a poster and a picture of the crew celebrating the occasion on Monday. Mari thanked the cast and crew for the "tireless work, undying efforts and constant support" in making the shoot possible.

The film that marks the director and the actor's maiden collaboration was announced early in 2024. A film centred on Kabaddi will be Mari's fifth directorial venture after Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Karnan (2021), Maamannan (2023), and Vaazhai (2024). It will also be Dhruv's third release after Adithya Varma (2019) and Mahaan (2022).

Bison also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, and Aruvi Madhan, among others.

The film is backed by Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith's Neelam Studios and has music by Nivas K Prasanna, cinematography by Ezhil Arasu, and editing by Sakthi Thiru.
