Actor Sanath, known for films like Petta and Mahaan, is all set to headline an upcoming romantic comedy titled Heartin. Helmed by debut filmmaker Kishore Kumar, the film also stars Madonna Sebastian and debutante Emaya T in prominent roles.

According to a press note, director Kishore said about the film, "Heartin is a rom-com with an interesting balance of romance and humour. We are creating a film that will appeal to audiences of all kinds. The shoot is nearly 80% complete, with filming taking place across Chennai, Jaipur, and Ooty."

R Ravindran of Trident Arts is producing Heartin, which will have camera work by Mukes, music composed by Rajesh Murugesan and editing by Barath Vikraman. Details about the plot and extended cast are yet to be disclosed. The film, which is in the final leg of production, is scheduled to hit theatres in summer this year.

Sanath was last seen in a full-fledged role in Vikram's Mahaan and in the segment 'The Mask' in Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa. He recently played cameo roles in Jigarthanda Double X and Demonte Colony 2. Madonna, who played Vijay's twin sister in Leo, recently had the release of Jolly O Gymkhana, in which she starred alongside Abhirami and Prabhudeva. She also has Madhavan's Adhirshtasaali in the pipeline.
