It was earlier announced that debut director Joshua Sridhar's film Gentlewoman, starring Lijomol, Losliya and Harikrishnan in pivotal roles, will be releasing on March 7.

The makers dropped the teaser of the film on Wednesday, where we are shown the contrasting lives of the characters played by Lijomol and Losliya. The only similar emotion they express is the frustration of being double-timed by someone, played by Harikrishnan. The glimpse ends with the voiceover saying, "Men just view women as their outlet to sexual urges."

The makers say that Gentlewoman will redefine strength and grace and that being gentle is not just for men. The film also stars Rajiv Gandhi, Dharani, Vairabalan, Nanditha Sreekumar, and Sudesh, among others.

Gentlewoman's technical crew comprises music director Govind Vasantha, cinematographer SA Kathavarayan, editor Elayaraja Sekar, stunt director Sudesh, choreographer Azar and Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics and dialogue.

Lijomol Jose had three releases in the last year: Nadanna Sambhavam, I Am Kathalan and Her (all are Malayalam films). She made her last Tamil film appearance in TJ Gnanavel's Jai Bhim (2021), with Suriya and Manikandan. Lijomol's Ponman (Malayalam) recently released, with Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai (Tamil) and Daveed (Malayalam) slated for a release later this week.

Hari Krishnan was seen in a supporting role in Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan, along with Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy. Meanwhile, Losliya's Mr Housekeeping, directed by Arun Ravichandran, recently released to mixed to positive reviews and is running in theatres.
