Rio Raj starrer Sweetheart! gets release date

Yuvan Shankar Raja not only produced the film but also serves as a composer

The film Sweetheart!, starring Rio Raj as well as helmed by Swineeth S Sukumar in his directorial debut, will release on March 14 in theatres, the makers announced on Wednesday. Yuvan Shankar Raja produced the film through his banner YSR Films; it is his fourth venture as a producer. Yuvan also serves as the composer for the film, which Swineeth directed from his own screenplay. The makers announced the film in July last year and describe it as a drama that explores modern romance. Gopika Ramesh plays the female lead in the film, opposite Rio Raj. It marks the Tamil acting debut of Renji Panicker, who is also a well-known screenwriter and director in Malayalam cinema. The cast of the film also includes Redin Kingsley, Tulasi, Arunachaleswaran Pa, Suresh Chakravarthy, and Fouzee.

Besides acting in the film, Rio Raj serves as a lyricist, alongside Madhan Karky, Vignesh Ramakrishna, Arviu, MC Sanna, Kelithee, and Gana Francis. The technical crew of Sweetheart! also includes cinematographer Balaji Subramanyam, editor Tamil Arasan, and art director Siva Sankar.
