Vaibhav and Parvati Nair's Aalambana to release in March

The film, which went on floors towards the end of 2019, wrapped up the shoot in 2021

After facing numerous delays, Vaibhav starrer fantasy comedy Aalambana finally gets a release date. The makers of debut director Pari K Vijay's film announced that it will release in theatres on March 7.

KJR Studios, the production company behind the film, called it a "magical entertainer" and wrote, "Your playful Genie is finally bringing you the wholesome fun."

The film has Munishkanth play the Genie, with Parvati as the female lead. The other stars in the cast include Robo Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Murali Sharma, Dindugal I Leoni and Anandraj. Vedalam-fame Kabir Duhan Singh plays the villain. Aalambana was shot in locations like Mysore Palace, Chennai, and Pondicherry. The film, which went on floors towards the end of 2019, wrapped up the shoot in 2021.

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Ramaswamy, and editing by San Lokesh. Oustubh Entertainments is jointly bankrolling this film with KJR Studios.
