The makers of Test, starring Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth and Meera Jasmine in prominent roles, dropped the teaser of the film on Monday.

The teaser unveiled by Netflix has Siddharth, an aspiring cricketer, his supposed love interest played by Meera Jasmine, Madhavan and Nayanthara, a struggling middle-class couple. All of the characters shown are in a rough patch, desperate for a breakthrough.

Test is helmed by producer Sashikanth of YNot Studios, marking his directorial debut.

The film's technical crew consists of TS Suresh as editor, Viraj Sinh Gohil as cinematographer and Dinesh Subbarayan handling stunts. While Dhruv Panjuani is the sports director, Shakthisree Gopalan will be marking her debut as a composer with the film.

Along with Tamil, Test will also be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
