'Uyir Koottula' from Peppin George Jayaseelan's Yamakaathaghi out

The film that went through a long delay marks the Tamil debut of Roopa Koduvayur

The makers of director Peppin George Jayaseelan's Yamakaathaghi unveiled the film's first single, 'Uyir Koottula,' on Saturday.

The romantic number featuring Narendra Prasath and Roopa Koduvayur is set against the rural backdrop. Composed by Jecin George, 'Uyir Koottula' is sung by Gowtham Bharadwaj and written by Gnanakaravel.

The film that went through a long delay marks the Tamil debut of Roopa Koduvayur, who is known for her roles in Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, Mr Pregnant.

Billed as a supernatural thriller, Yamakaathagi is directed by Peppin George Jayaseelan and produced by Sujith Sarang and Sreejith Sarang under their banner, the Sarang Brothers. Apart from bankrolling the film, the brothers duo will also be handling the cinematography and edits, respectively.

Apart from Roopa, the film stars Narendra Prasath, Haritha, Geetha Kailasam and Subash Ramasamy.

The makers are yet to give a release date for the film.
