Earlier today the makers of Jana Nayagan revealed that the next single from the film's soundtrack is titled 'Chella Magale', and will feature actor Vijay as the singer. Now a glimpse from the song reveals that it is a melody, a niche genre for Vijay's discography.
The song is hinted to be a father's ode to his daughter, which showcases the love shared by both of them. With Anirudh composing the music, Vivek is writing the lyrics.
Jana Nayagan will be the fifth time Anirudh is composing music for a film headlined by Vijay. He previously composed for Kaththi (2014), Master (2020), Beast (2021), and Leo (2023).
H Vinoth, who has previously directed Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran: Adhigaram Ondru is directing Jana Nayagan. The film is produced by KVN Productions.
The cast of the film also includes Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, and Narain.
