Shrutika Arjun, known for her participation on Bigg Boss 18 as the first contestant from Tamil Nadu to appear on the reality TV program, made some candid revelations about her career in an exclusive conversation with CE. Shrutika, who recently came back to the world of entertainment with a victorious appearance on Cooku with Comali season 3, said that she would no longer act in films. However, Shrutika also revealed that she received some offers after her successful stint with Cooku with Comali. "I got a little carried away during my CWC days and considered doing a film again," she said. However, the TV personality also stated that "something would stop" her at every instance where she reached that crucial phase in the decision making process: attending a meeting with filmmakers.

Shrutika Arjun attributed her decision to back out from films to a lack of interest in the field. "You should be good at your art, right? You should have a skill. If you do not have that skill, you need to have an interest in acquiring it. I do not have either," the TV personality told CE. She also said that if she were to accept the opportunities that came her way, it would mean taking the same chances away from those who are skilled at the profession.

For the uninitiated, Shrutika made her debut with in 2002's Sri, opposite Suriya, after which she went on to feature in some more films, notably Nala Damayanthi and Thithikudhe. The actor quit films a long time ago to pay more attention to her education before making the comeback to the entertainment field with Cooku with Comali.

Right now, she appears as a judge on the reality TV program Single Pasanga on ZEE5.
