The second single of Vijay-H Vinoth's Jana Nayagan is titled 'Oru Pere Varalaaru'

Jana Nayagan is releasing in theatres on January 9, 2026, ahead of the Pongal festival

A day after it was announced that the second single of Vijay-H Vinoth's Jana Nayagan would be released on December 18, the makers of the upcoming action thriller unveiled the title in a promo. The song titled 'Oru Pere Varalaaru' will be out at 6:30 PM on Thursday.

The song, composed by Anirudh, is penned by Vivek and sung by Vishal Mishra and Anirudh. The song will also have dialogues spoken by Vijay. Some reports suggest that the film has a runtime of 3 hours and 6 minutes. This is his first film with a duration exceeding three hours in over a decade, after Nanban (2012).

Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain. The film reunites Vijay with Prakash Raj after Varisu, Pooja after Beast, and Gautham Vasudev Menon after Leo.

On the technical side, the film has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, action choreography by Anl Arasu, and art direction by Selva Kumar.

Jana Nayagan is releasing in theatres on January 9, 2026, ahead of the Pongal festival.
