Rajinikanth offers prayers at Tirupati with family for 75th birthday

Several top politicians and celebrities including PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, and Sivakarthikeyan wished Rajinikanth on his birthday

A day after celebrating his 75th birthday, Rajinikanth flew to Tirupati along with his family to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. In a viral video that has been going rounds on social media, he can be seen along with his wife Latha Rajinikanth, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, and grandsons Yatra and Linga. The family later posed for photos where the star waved at his fans and the media fraternity.

Several top politicians and celebrities including PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Sivakarthikeyan, director Karthik Subbaraj and others wished the actor on his birthday.

The day was also made memorable as Rajinikanth's iconic 1999 film Padayappa was re-released in theatres amid much fanfare and celebration. His wife Latha Rajinikanth cut a cake inside Rohini Theatres in Chennai to celebrate the superstar's birthday with fans.

On the work front, Rajinikanth, who was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, has Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer 2 which is set for a release in theatres on June 12, 2026. The actor also celebrated his birthday on the sets of the film.
