Sivakarthikeyan shares birthday wishes to Rajinikanth

Sivakarthikeyan has earlier confessed that he has been a big fan the veteran actor

Adding to the multitudes of wishes pouring in for actor Rajinikanth, was actor Sivakarthikeyan. Rajinikanth turned 75 on the same year he completes 50 years in cinema.

Taking to his X handle, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "Happy milestone birthday to my idol, Thalaivar - the one and only Superstar Rajinikanth. A legend of 75 years, a phenomenon of 50. Your style and aura remain unmatched, Thalaivaa."

Earlier, as the Rajinikanth completed 50 years in the film industry, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "I grew up watching you, mimicked you, and walked in your footsteps - to be in the same field as you is my greatest fortune. Thank you for inspiring me, and congratulations on your 50 years of magnanimous legacy."

Rajinikanth's 1999 drama, Padayappa was restored and rereleased in theatres for the actor's birthday. The film was also late actor Sivaji Ganeshan's final film. Rajinikanth wrote the story for the film, along with producing it.
