Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International have shared a video, as a tribute to Rajinikanth for the latter's birthday. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have worked together on 18 films, with the first collaborationg being Rajinikanth's debut film, Apoorva Ragangal (1975).

The video starts with a photo from Ninaithale Inikkam (1979), with both the actors. The photo was earlier shared on August 13, ahead of the release of Coolie. The video also shares some moments from projects involving K Balachandar, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haaasan like Apoorva Ragangal (1975), Moondru Mudichu (1976), and Avargal (1977). A moment from Bharathiraaja's 16 Vayathinile (1977) was also generated through AI.

The video also went on to show some moments from several ceremonies like Kamal 50 and Vikatan Awards, which have found place in Tamil pop culture.

Earlier, Kamal Haasan wished Rajinikanth through his handle, by writing, “75 years of a remarkable life. 50 years of legendary cinema, Happy Birthday my friend.”
