With the production of Benz underway, fans are eagerly awaiting to watch the clash unfold between Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly's characters. While Raghava Lawrence's role of who Benz is, remains under wraps, it was previously announced that the Premam actor would play the leading antagonist Twin Fish Walter, a brutal and unapologetic villain in the film.

Calling his character "ruthless", Nivin said it would be a "bloodbath" in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-produced film. In a recent interview the actor revealed that he was approached for a different role in the film, but the makers changed it to fit in his character as the villain. Nivin admitted that he had to change his acting methods completely to be on par with the meter of Tamil cinema.

"There's no point in proceeding the same way as Malayalam. I have made changes in acting style and dialogue delivery," he noted, sharing that his role would also be occasionally cracking jokes that are in the dark humour zone. "Many things he does may also make the audience laugh. Still, fear is maintained fully," he said. While it did take time for him to adapt to the zone, Nivin Pauly is confident that it would be a role to look out for in his career.

Apart from Nivin Pauly and Raghava Lawrence, actor Samyuktha is also part of the cast of Benz.

Benz is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, and is the fourth film in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after Kaithi (2019), Vikram (2022), and Leo (2023). The film is described as a high-octane action drama that aims to bring a fresh layer to the LCU.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is producing the film along with Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy. Pradeep Boopathi serves as the creative producer on the film. Passion Studios, G Squad, and The Route are backing Benz.

Sai Abhyankkar is composing music for the film. The technical crew of the film includes Goutham George as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj as the editor, and Jacki as the art director.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly will be seen in Akhil Sathyan's Sarvam Maya, which is set to release on December 25.
