We had reported this August that the '96 duo Aadhitya Baaskar and Gouri Kishan are teaming up again for a new film. The latest update from the makers is that the film has wrapped production.
Billed as a romantic entertainer, the film is helmed by debutant Rajkumar Rangasamy. The film is also set The film is also set to star veteran actor-director K Bhagyaraj in a prominent role. The film also stars Jiva Ravi, Saraswathi Menon, TK Srenevasan, Redin Kingsley, and Sajini Pandy.
The untitled film, produced by Kannadhason and presented by Origin Studios, has composer MS Jones Rupert, cinematographer L Ramachandran, and editor Barath Vikraman in the technical team.
After their successful collaboration in Prem Kumar's '96 (2018), Aadhitya and Gouri paired again in Vignesh Karthick's Hot Spot, which released last year. While Aadhitya was last seen in GV Prakash's Rebel (2024), Gouri played a supporting role in the latest Malayalam film Sahasam. Gouri awaits the release of Pradeep Ranganathan-Vignesh Shivan's Love Insurance Kompany (LIK).
