Earlier today, Silambarasan TR paid a visit to Aith Kumar as the latter participates in a car race in Malaysia, as part of the 24H Series event for his eponymous team. In a clip shared on social media, Silambarasan can be seen clad in an Aith Kumar Racing outfit, hugging his idol and interacting with him. The actor has expressed his admiration for Ajith multiple times in the past. Many of his films have also reference to Ajith, including some that feature his not-so-fancied nickname 'Thala'. Many years ago, Silambarasan said that he would not use the 'Thala' reference in his films any longer.

There are some rumours about Ajith doing a remake of the Brad Pitt starrer F1 in Tamil cinema with his Billa director Vishnuvardhan. Now that Silambarasan has also met Ajith in Malaysia, the speculation about their collaboration with Vishnuvardhan has started to surface even more. Earlier, Silambarasan was in discussion for a third part in Ajith's Billa franchise with Venkat Prabhu, although the project did not materialise.

In the meantime, Silambarasan is soon set to start shooting for Arasan, his film with director Vetri Maaran.
