Anupama Parameswaran-starrer Lockdown's release postponed

The release of Anupama Parameswaran's upcoming film Lockdown has been postponed again. The film was earlier set to release on December 5.

The makers cited that the heavy rains and the adverse weather conditions, have urged them to prioritze the safety of the audiences, theatre staff and partners.

Chennai and its surrounding areas are hit by the Cyclone Ditwah, which earlier struck Sri Lanka, causing damage to several areas in the country.

Lockdown was first set to release in June 2024, when it later got postponed. The makers announced in November, that the film would release on December 5.

The cast of the film also includes  Charle, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Sabha Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh, and Asha.
