Actor Geetha Kailasam will next be seen as the titular Angammal in director Vipin Radhakrishnan's film, an adaptation of Perumal Murugan's story Kodithuni. With Angammal set to release in theatres this Friday, Geetha also talked exclusively to us about her next films after it. Earlier, we reported about her playing a role in Pradeep Ranganathan's former assistant director Maria Elanchezian's debut film, also starring GV Prakash and Lover star Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles.

The actor, known for her roles in films such as Sarpatta Parambarai, Amaran, Lover, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and Lubber Pandhu, is set to reunite with her Star director Elan as well. Geetha described the Elan directorial and the GV Prakash starrer as "light-hearted films".

Geetha Kailasam's upcoming films include a thriller with Lijomol Jose as well.

Recently, we reported about her starring in a film titled Mayilaa, which marks the directorial debut of actor Semmalar Annam and also features Geetha's Sarpatta Parambarai filmmaker Pa Ranjith as a presenter. Geetha talked about the plan of Angammal makers to release the film in Kerala as well.
