Among the tributes that are pouring in for late actor-politician Vijayakanth's 73rd birth anniversary, producer T Siva took to X to pay tribute to the actor. T Siva has produced Vijaykanth-starrers like Solvathellam Unmai, Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran, Paattukku Oru Thalaivan, and Mariyadhai.

The producer wrote, "Captain, with each of my heartbeat I reminisce my time with you. Long live your praise, O great man. Your birthday is one of the world's most important day, a day which we will always remember."

Vijayakanth is fondly called "Captain" after his role in RK Selvmani's Captain Prabhakaran, which was his 100th film. The film was rereleased theatrically on August 22. The film was the debut of actor Mansoor Ali Khan, who starred alongside MN Nambiar, Sarathkumar, Gandhimadhi, Ramya Krishnan, and Rupini.

Meanwhile, T Siva has also produced films like Chinna Mapplillai, Aravindhan, Saroja, Aravaan, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum, and Charlie Chaplin 2.
