Ever since Vijay handed the gun over to Sivakarthikeyan in GOAT, fans have been buzzing about the actor being the next big star in the film industry. Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss also helmed the film Thuppakki with actor Vijay, which went on to become a blockbuster hit. With Vidyut Jammwal's antagonist saying, "Thuppakki, evan kaila irundhalum, villain naan dhaan da," fans are excited about other Thuppakki references that the film is set to offer.

"Six cargo trucks full of local made illegal weapons are on the way to Tamil Nadu."

In another scene, Biju Menon's character is seen informing his team of law enforcement members about illegal weapons being smuggled into Tamil Nadu. With the film's plot being completely kept under wraps all this while, this establishes that the core narrative of the film will revolve around illegal smuggling.

"Getting into Tamil Nadu is not easy, Chirag."

The film's biggest selling point is its title, Madharaasi. The title has created the expectation that the film will talk about how South Indians are underestimated, with the word often used as a slur. With Vidyut Jammwal saying this dialogue, the film seems to portray the potential of a Tamilian and the extent he will go to save his state. In another instance, we also hear the voice of Sivakarthikeyan saying, "Idhu en ooru sir. Naanum kooda nippen," reiterating the same sentiment.

"Touch her if you dare."

AR Murugadoss' most talked-about scene in the recent past is when Vijay says, "I'm waiting," at the Thuppakki interval scene. Right in the middle of the Madharaasi trailer, the filmmaker has placed a glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan holding a phone to his ear and saying, "Mudinja thodra, papom," which has raked up excitement, with fans anticipating yet another "I'm waiting" moment.

"If he decides something, he'll go to any extreme to complete it."

Actor Thalaivasal Vijay is seen communicating to Rukmini Vasanth's Malathi that Sivakarthikeyan's Raghu is very adamant about completing tasks he is fixated upon, no matter how risky it may turn out to be. This reminds one of the famous Vijay dialogue, "Oru vaati mudivu pannita en pecha naane kekkamaatan." This also establishes that Sivakarthikeyan is not just another action hero but one who is determined and may also have a condition that motivates him to seek justice.
