First look at Bharathiraja starrer Pulavar released

Scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was the subject of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is presenting Pulavar, which stars Bharathiraja in the lead

The first look at the Bharathiraja starrer Pulavar was released today. Music composer AR Rahman released a short video that featured the first look of the film.

Bharathiraja made his debut as an actor in Mani Ratnam's Aayutha Ezhuthu, as the antagonist Selvanayagam. He has starred in films like Kurangu Bommai, Namma Veetu Pillai, Rocky, Thiruchitrambalam, Maharaja, Niram Maarum Ulagil, and most recently alongside Mohanlal in Thudarum.

Pulavar is directed by Murkaiya and is presented by scientist Nambi Narayanan. He was the subject of the biopic Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which was directed by R Madhavan in his directorial debut. Also starring Simran, the film covered the life of the scientist, including the espionage case, from which he was exonerated. The film also featured Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan in cameo appearances.

The film also stars Raichel, who is known for her role in the Manikandan starrer Good Night. The film is produced by Sameer Bharat Ram and has Kasi Viswanathan as the co producer. Super Talkies and White Night Entertainment are the banners behind Pulavar.
