Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is quite popular for penning a note a day ahead of his film's release. He usually tells whether a film belongs to the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) and what films fans need to watch beforehand.

This one before the grand release of Coolie, however, is a gratitude note to all those involved in the project. He thanked Rajinikanth for giving him the "opportunity to craft this film with complete creative freedom" and to bring his "vision to life through him."

He hailed his technical crew a "pillar of strength," and he also thanked the Sun Pictures and producer Kalanithi Maran for "allowing" him the creative freedom. He also urged fans to refrain from sharing spoilers from the film.

And finally, he clarified, yet again, and for the last time, that Coolie is indeed a standalone film and not a part of LCU, like many speculated and floated rumours.

Coolie will release tomorrow alongside War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
