Venkat Prabhu: Project with Sivakarthikeyan will be a fun film

We had earlier reported that Venkat Prabhu will collaborate with Sivakarthikeyan and the film will go on floors later this year.

Venkat Prabhu, in a recent appearance at an award show, revealed that the film's script has been completed and Sivakarthikeyan is happy with how it has come out. He also said this film will have Siva play a different character from other films in his career. He added that it will be a fun film loved by all sections of the audience.

The actor was last seen in Amaran, the biopic of late Major Mukund Varadarajan in the army and his brave stint in the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir. SK also has director AR Murugadoss's Madharasi, set for a theatrical release on September 5, and Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi, for a Pongal release next year.

Parasakthi has a star-studded ensemble with Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa Murali roped in to star in crucial roles.
