After numerous rumours of her marital status being flouted around actor Sangeetha Krish refuted those rumours. The actor who made her debut with Gangothri, is married to singer Krish.

The rumours begain when the name on the actor's instagram handle was amiss her husband's name. The actor later clarified to News 7, that she had made the change and reverted back to her maiden name, Sangitha Santharam. She revealed that she made the change for numerology purposes.

Sangeetha who made her debut in 1997, went on to star in films like Kadhale Nimmadhi, Summer in Bethlehem, and Anbulla Kadhalukku. Her performance in Bala's Pithamagan alongside Suriya, Vikram, and Laila wa noted by audiences. Pithamagan also reunited Sangeetha and Suriya after Kadhale Nimmadhi. She went on to star in Manmadhan Ambu and Varisu.

Meanwhile Krish has sung for songs in films like Mankatha, Unnale Unnale, Ayan, and Vettaikaran.
