Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is busy with the promotions of his big-ticket release Coolie, headlined by Rajinikanth, has taken some time to pen a gratitude note to his frequent collaborators, stunt choreographers Anbariv.

Calling it a perfect moment, Lokesh praised the duo as the "pillars" of his career from day one. He also mentions that they were a "big part" in all the success he has achieved in life.

Lokesh also wished them on the directorial journey with actor Kamal Haasan's 237th film.

Right from Lokesh Kanagaraj's debut film Maanagaram, Anbariv have been the stunt choreographers in every project of the action director's filmography, save for Master (2021). Their collaboration continues with Coolie, and all eyes are on Anbariv as Lokesh, in an earlier interview, said that there will be no compromise on stunts and violence in the movie. It is also worth noting that Coolie is Rajinikanth's first film in close to four decades that has obtained an A certificate. While Lokesh's earlier works are known for the racy stunts, expectations on the department have skyrocketed for Coolie.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, Coolie stars Rajinikanth as Deva, Aamir Khan as Dahaa, Nagarjuna as Simon, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Upendra as Kaleesha, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, and Soubin Shahir as Dayal.

Apart from composer Anirudh and Anbariv, the rest of the technical crew consists of cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The film's dialogues are written by Lokesh and Chandhru Anbazhagan, who have also contributed to the additional screenplay.

Coolie is releasing on August 14 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
