Days after the release of the first single, the makers of APG Elumalai's Myyal dropped the second single from the film on Saturday.

The song titled 'Kathuren Naa' is a slow and sad number where the male lead, imprisoned for a crime, is regretting his deeds and yearns to be back with his lady love. The second single is composed by Amargeeth, written by Karunakaran, and sung by Ayyathurai.

After being an assistant director for the 2006 K Balachander film Poi, Elumalai went on to work as an associate for G Marimuthu's Kannum Kannum (2006). After that, Elumalai worked with director Prabu Solomon on Mynaa (2010), Kumki (2012), and Kaadan (2021). Elumalai has directed the film with a story and screenplay from author Jeyamohan.

Backed by Anupama Vikram Singh and Venugopal R under the Icon Cine Creations, Myyal's technical crew comprises music composer Amargeeth S, cinematographer Bala Palaniyappan, editor Vetri Shanmugam, and art director Varnaalayaa Jagadeesan.

The makers are yet to share details regarding the film's release date.
