The trailer for Sasikumar's Tourist Family has been released by its makers recently. With Sasikumar, Simran and Aavesham fame Mithun Jai Shankar star in the film.

The trailer teases the story of the film, which hints at the problems faced by a family after they cross the sea from Valvettithurai, Sri Lanka, to Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. It also has some moments of levity, including a reference to a dialogue of actor Vijay's from Theri.

The rest of the cast of Tourist Family includes Yogi Babu, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi.

Abishan Jeevinth is the writer and director for Tourist Family. The technical crew of the film includes Sean Roldan as the composer, Aravind Viswanathan as the director of photography, Barath Vikraman as the editor, and Raj Kamal as the art director. For Tourist Family, Vijay MP is the creative producer and Harish Durairaj is the executive producer, with Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan producing the film.

Abhishan Jeevinth's Tourist Family is set to be released theatrically on May 1.
