On Friday, following the release of Ajith-Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly, actor Trisha who plays the female lead in the film, took to her official Instagram handle to pen a cryptic note about the social media reviews and criticisms of the film.

She wrote, “Shabaaaaaaa...Toxic people, how do you guys do life or sleep well? Does sitting on social media and posting nonsensical stuff about others really make your day? I really, really feel terrible for you guys and the people you live with or are surrounded by. Anonymous cowardice indeed! God bless you all, really!” (sic)

This comes after a lot of social media users have criticised the film and also Trisha’s role in the film. Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly revolves around AK (Ajith Kumar), a yesteryear gangster, who gives up violence for his wife Ramya (Trisha) and child but is forced to take it up again after the very people he gave it up for are troubled.

Good Bad Ugly also stars Arjun Das, Prasanna, Kaartikeya Dev, Prabhu, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Redin Kingsley, and Raghu Ram, among others. The film’s technical crew comprises composer GV Prakash, editor Vijay Velukutty, and cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam. The film is produced by Mythiri Movie Makers.

Good Bad Ugly marks Trisha’s sixth film with Ajith. The two have previously starred together in films like Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, Yennai Arindhal, and Vidaamuyarchi.
