Naangal, the debut feature from Avinash Prakash, had its trailer released recently. The film is produced by GVS Raju under the Kala Bhavashri Creations banner.

Set in Ooty during the late 90s, Naangal follows three boys and their lives under a strict father, whose wife is separated from him, as they come of age.

Naangal's cast includes Mithun V, Rithvik M, Nithin D, Abdul Rafe, Prarthana Srikkanth, John E, Tanika Guruprasad, and K Hariharan. The director's own dog Roxy is also featured in the film.

Along with writing and directing the film, Avinash Prakash is also the cinematographer and writer for this film. Vrajbala J handles the production design for the film. Ved Shanker Sugavanam handles the music, with Sujatha N writing the lyrics. Saindhavi has sung a song for Naangal.

Avinash Prakash's Naangal is set to release theatrically on April 18.
