Ajith plans on participating in the European GT4 championship

There are negotiations in place between Ajith or his representatives and teams from the Middle East and Europe

Actor Ajith's passion for bike riding is well known, as he embarks on long rides amid his film commitments. Now, he seems to be channelling that passion with a return to motor racing. The Federation of Motor Sports Club of India has stated that Ajith plans to take part in the 2024 European GT4 championship. There are negotiations in place between Ajith or his representatives and teams from the Middle East and Europe.

Ajith, who started off with motorbike racing, participated in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship. He has taken part in the British Formula 3 Championship and Asian Formula BMW Championship, with podium finishes, as well as the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

FMSCI president Akbar Ebrahim said, “I am really happy to hear Ajith is making a comeback to the sport. He is extremely talented and passionate in whatever he does and a true brand ambassador for the sport."

On the film front, Ajith is working on Vidaamuyarchi, his film with director Magizh Thirumeni that also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles. His upcoming releases also include Good Bad Ugly, the Adhik Ravichandran directorial.
