'My Maima' from Vaibhav-Athulya Ravi's Chennai City Gangsters out

The film is yet to get a release date

Described as a "heartbreak anthem" by the makers of Chennai City Gangsters, the promo song "My Maima" got released on Saturday.

The kuthu song featured the prominent cast members of the film and its music composer, D Imman. 'My Maima' is written by Super Subu and Ofro, with Ofro also singing along with Gaana Guna and Gaana Dharani.

Apart from Vaibhav and Athulya, Chennai City Gangsters also stars Anandraj, Rajendran, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and others in supporting roles.

Other than Imman, the rest of the technical crew consists of Tijo Tomy and Suresh A Prasad, the cinematographer and editor, respectively. Besides, Arun Shankar Durai is the art director, and stunts are handled by Don Ashok. The film is backed by Bobby Balachandran under his home banner, BTG Universal.

A release date for the film helmed by Vikram Rajeshwar and Arun Keshav is yet to be announced. Vikram is the son of writer and director K Rajeshwar who has worked as a writer in films like Kadalora Kavidhaigal, Paneer Pushpangal, Seevelaperi Pandi, and Vetri Vizha, to name a few.
