Lokesh Kanagaraj on Coolie leak: Two months of hard work gone in vain

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, on Wednesday, expressed displeasure over the footage leak from his upcoming film with Rajinikanth starrer Coolie.

On his X handle (previously Twitter), Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote that two months of hard work by many have "gone in vain" because of one recording. He requested not to engage in such practices as they "spoil the overall experience." Lokesh Kanagaraj's post came in response to the leak from the film's action sequence footage featuring Nagarjuna.

The film also stars Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir.

Coolie, produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, went on floors this July. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunts by Anbariv.

His upcoming film with TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan, is scheduled for a release on October 10.
