On the occasion of Onam on Sunday, Rajinikanth met with the team of his upcoming film Coolie, and the makers posted a video of him grooving to the recently-released song Manasilaayo from Vettaiyan. The song, composed by Anirudh, was released earlier this week and has turned into a viral hit.

In the video, Rajinikanth can be seen dancing to the song, while director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the rest of the team are present as well. Soubin Shahir, who plays a role in Coolie, and Girish Gangadharan, who is the cinematographer, took to their social media handle to post some pictures of the meet-up.

Manasilaayo has vocals by Malaysia Vasudevan, Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander, and Deepthi Suresh. Interestingly, the voice of Vasudevan has been generated using AI.

Vettaiyan is scheduled to hit theatres on October 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, while Coolie is currently under production. Coolie has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, and stunts by Anbariv.
