Sivakarthikeyan is waiting for the theatrical release of his film Amaran, with director Rajkumar Periyasamy of Rangoon fame. With Amaran set for an October 31 release in theatres, post-production works for the film are well underway. The other day, the film's producer, Kamal Haasan's banner Raaj Kamal Films International, announced through a social media post that its dubbing has commenced. Captioning the post, "The Roar of Amaran Rises!," the banner shared a video where Sivakarthikeyan dubs for his parts in the upcoming film, including a sequence in its recently released teaser.

Amaran tells the story of the late army officer based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. The film also stars Sai Pallavi in a lead role. On the technical front, it has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter.
