Actor Yogi Babu's Boat, directed by Chimbudeven, released on August 2 to mixed reviews from critics and fans.

Makers of the period drama released the film's video jukebox. The jukebox contains 'Sokka Naanum Nikkiren', 'Thakida Thadimi', 'Petha Thaayum' and 'Va da Va'.

The CE review of Boat reads, "If the film’s screenplay is the hole in the boat, then the cast is the life jacket that prevents it from sinking. The ensemble delivers commendable performances, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the film’s shortcomings. With a promising premise and talented actors, Boat had the potential to be a gripping survival drama. Instead, it’s a vessel overloaded with preachy dialogues and uneven pacing."

Maali and Maanvi Movie Makers and Chimbudeven Entertainment are backing the upcoming film, which will be distributed by Shakthi Film Factory.

With cinematography by Madhesh Manickam, Boat features music by Ghibran, editing by Mani Maran, and production design by T Santhanam.
