Director Cibi Chakaravarthi, known for directing Sivakarthikeyan's Don (2022) got married to Varshini in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday. Pictures from the wedding reception have been going around on social media which also shows actors Sivakarthikeyan and Bala Saravanan in attendance.

Following the reception, actor Bala Saravanan wrote on his X handle, "Happy Married Life to my anbirku anbana Dearestt director Cibi Chakaravarthi bro ungal anbana manasuku epavum pola innum men melum sirappana maaberum vetrihalai adaiveenga bro."

Director Cibi's debut Don, which was released in 2022, starred Sivakarthikeyan in the main lead role alongside S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Priyanka Mohan, and Soori. The film revolves around a reluctant engineering student repeatedly clashing with his college's discipline mentor, while still trying to discover his passion in life and prove his eligibility to his father. It was a commercial success at the box office and earned positive reviews from critics as well as the audience.
