After announcing that Silambarasan TR will join hands with Ashwath Marimuthu for his next, the makers have released a BTS video of the first look shoot on Wednesday.

The glimpse showed how meticulously STR's look was planned to revert to his early 2000s self. Days ago, STR announced that his next would be a combination of Dum, Vallavan and Manmadhan with Gen Z sensibilities. The film bankrolled by AGS Entertainment is tentatively titled AGS 27.

Meanwhile, this film will mark Ashwath Marimuthu's second collaboration with the production house, with the first one, Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, already under production.

Simbu, on the other hand, completed dubbing for his portions in Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam's Thug Life, and the production of his 48th film with Desingh Periyasamy is yet to take off. The actor was last seen in Obeli Krishna's Pathu Thala, opposite Gautham Karthik.

Other details regarding AGS 27, such as the plot and rest of the cast, are yet to be made.
