'Thalaivane' from Kanguva: Suriya is a ruthless warrior preparing for battle

As Suriya's Kanguva is gearing up for release on November 14, the makers of the film released the third single 'Thalaivane' on Tuesday.

'Thalaivane' is a war song that eulogises the tribal chief that is getting ready to fight. The number of singers to croon this song is 17: Aravind Srinivas, Deepak Blue, Shenbagaraj, Narayanan Ravishankar, Govind Prasad, Shibi Srinivasan, Prasanna Adhisesha, Saisharan, Vikram Pitty, Abhijith Rao, Aparna Harikumar, Sushmita Narasimhan, Pavithra Chari, Lavita Lobo, Deepthi Suresh, Latha Krishna and Padmaja Sreenivasan. 'Thalaivane' is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and written by Madhan Karky.

The Siva film stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and KS Ravikumar in supporting roles. It is positioned as a pan-India release; the makers say it will be released in 38 languages, including English.

Disha Patani makes her Tamil debut with Kanguva, as will Bobby Deol, as the antagonist. It has also been rumoured that Karthi will make an appearance in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composes the music for Kanguva.

The fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts, is expected to traverse across multiple time periods.
