The makers of stunt choreographer Anl Arasu's directorial debut Phoenix released the lyrical video of the film's first single, 'Yaaraanda'. Actor Vijay Sethupathi's son Surya will be making his debut as the male lead in the film. He has made appearances as a child artist in his father's films Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Sindhubaadh.

'Yaaraanda' is a typical hero-elevation song, composed by Sam CS, sung by Sivam and written by Vidya Damethiran.

The previously released teaser of Phoenix shows Surya as a professional boxer who is imprisoned for some reason. While we see him give importance to his sport as much as he gives importance to his life, we also see another party planning a jailbreak.

The star cast of Phoenix, apart from the lead actors, includes Muthukumar, Sampath, Dileepan, Vignesh, Varsha Viswanath, Abi Nakshatra, Sathya NJ, 'Atti' Rishi, and Poovaiyar.

The technical crew of Phoenix, produced by AK Braveman Picturess' Rajalakshmy Arasakumar, comprises music director Sam CS, cinemetographer R Velraj, editor Praveen KL, stunt choreographer 'Anl' Arasu, and executive producer MS Murugaraj.

Phoenix is scheduled to release in theatres on November 14.
