On Sunday, the much-awaited first state conference of Vijay's political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), will take place in Vikravandi, Tamil Nadu. The event is expected to be the first step towards political rallies for Vijay, who has till now not given a full-fledged political speech. This has also raised expectations for Vijay to divulge the party's ideologies during the meeting.

Vijay took to his social media to emphasise the safety of his fans and the attendees of the conference. Loosely translated to English from Tamil, his post mentioned that it is better than two-wheelers are avoided and traffic regulations be followed. He also pressed on the need to prioritise police protocols. Some reports mention that around 5 lakh people are likely to attend the event. The conference venue has cutouts of EVR Periyar, K Kamaraj, and BR Ambedkar erected.

On the acting front, Vijay will star in Thalapathy69, directed by H Vinoth, which is scheduled to release in October next year. Even though he has not made a direct confirmation about the same, it is expected to be his last film.
