The team of Kanguva is on a whirlwind promotion spree ahead of the film's release on November 14.

In a recent event, actor Suriya, who is playing the lead in the film helmed by Siva, got candid about Ajith Kumar and the relationship he shares with the director.

To a question, Suriya responded, saying that Ajith told him why he didn't let go off Siva when they both shared great things about the filmmaker, who delivered several hits with the latter. Siva and Ajith have collaborated on blockbusters like Veeram, Vedalam and Viswasam.

The Siva film also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and KS Ravikumar in supporting roles. It is positioned as a pan-India release; the makers say it will be released in 38 languages, including English.

Disha Patani makes her Tamil debut with Kanguva, as will Bobby Deol, as the antagonist. It has also been rumoured that Karthi will make an appearance in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composes the music for Kanguva.

The fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts, is expected to traverse across multiple time periods.
