Karthi's latest outing at the theatres, Meiyazhagan, is all set to premiere on Netflix on October 25. Helmed by C Prem Kumar, the film also stars Arvind Swamy in the lead role. The film hit theatres on September 27 and opened to positive reviews.

Meiyazhagan also stars Rajkiran, Saran Shakthi, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sri Ranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, Saran, Rachel Rebecca, Anthony, Rajkumar, Indumati, Rani Samyukta, Kayal Subramani, and Ashok Pandian.

Our CE review of the film read, "Meiyazhagan beautifully captures the cyclical, rewarding nature of goodness, and how healing begets healing." A week after its theatrical release, the film was trimmed by 18 minutes and 42 seconds. While the original runtime was 2 hours and 57 minutes, the revised runtime is 2 hours and 38 minutes.

Meiyazhagan is produced by Suriya and Jyotika under their 2D Entertainment banner. The film has cinematography by Mahendran Jayaraju and editing by R Govindraj. The film reunites Govind Vasantha and Prem Kumar after their blockbuster soundtrack in 96.
