Jayam Ravi's Brother clears censorship formalities

With just two weeks to go for the release of Jayam Ravi's Brother, the makers have announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities and has received a clean U certificate from the CBFC. Directed by M Rajesh, Brother is scheduled to hit theatres on the festive occasion of Diwali.

The film's supporting cast includes Bhoomika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Natty, Seetha, Achyuth Kumar, MS Bhaskar, Rao Ramesh, and Suresh Chakravarthy. Plot details for the film are currently under wraps.

Brother has music by Harris Jayaraj in his fourth collaboration with Ravi after Dhaam Dhoom (2008), Engeyum Kadhal (2011) and Vanamagan (2017) and second with Rajesh Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012).

The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosham and editor Abisish Joseph. Brother is produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment.

Upon release, Brother will clash with Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran and Kavin's Bloddy Beggar at the box office.
