After featuring in the lead in director Gokul's Singapore Saloon, it was announced early this year that RJ Balaji will next be seen in debutant Sidharth Viswanath's Sorgavaasal.

The makers of the film announced on Friday that the first look will be unveiled by filmmaker Pa Ranjith tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 AM.

Streamer Netflix announced the project this January with a poster showing a grim RJ Balaji with hands soiled by blood. Though the makers are tight-lipped about the plot details, it was deduced from the announcement poster that Balaji will play the role of a criminal who attempts a jailbreak.

Sorgavaasal is backed by Think Studios and Swipe Right Studio. More details about the plot, cast and crew are to be made by the makers. Sidharth Viswanath is an erstwhile assistant of director Pa Ranjith.
